The airy cutout pattern serves two purposes: it significantly reduces the overall weight of the pad and increases the surface area for your foot to grip, providing better traction than a solid foam surface.

The 25mm rolled ramp tail kick provides a substantial backstop for your rear foot. This allows you to push harder through turns and provides a secure reference point for your foot placement without feeling overly aggressive or sharp.

The pad measures 12" x 12.25" (30 x 31cm) and features a three-piece design, which allows you to adjust the width to fit a variety of tail shapes, from standard squash tails to narrower pin tails.

Friendly Foam is designed to be biodegradable, meaning it will break down more effectively in a landfill environment compared to traditional EVA foam. It maintains the same durability and grip performance you expect from a high-quality traction pad.

This pad uses marine-grade 3M adhesive, which is the industry standard for surfboard traction. When applied to a clean, wax-free surface, it creates a permanent bond that will withstand repeated exposure to saltwater and sun.

The beveled corners are designed to reduce drag as water flows over the edges of the pad. This helps maintain the board's speed and prevents the edges from catching or peeling prematurely.
