The PocketRocket Deluxe features a protected, durable push-start ignition that is significantly more reliable than older models. While it is designed to perform well in the backcountry, it is always smart to carry a backup lighter or matches just in case the ignition fails in extreme conditions.

Unlike many ultralight canister stoves that only offer an 'on' or 'off' setting, the broad burner head and refined valve on the Deluxe allow for genuine simmering control. This makes it a much better choice if you plan on cooking meals that require more than just boiling water.

This stove is designed to work with standard isobutane-propane fuel canisters, which are widely available at most outdoor retailers. It is not compatible with liquid fuel bottles or other fuel types.
