Neither the board nor the knife is dishwasher safe. Hand wash both pieces with mild soap and warm water, then dry them thoroughly with a soft cloth to protect the natural brass accents and the stone finish.

The included knife is best suited for soft to semi-hard cheeses. For very hard, aged cheeses, we recommend using a dedicated cheese cleaver to avoid damaging the knife's blade or handle.
