Owen Bed

As a classic panel bed, the Owen Bed is designed to be used with a standard mattress and box spring combination. You will need to place a box spring or a low-profile foundation on the frame to provide the necessary support for your mattress.

The light, pale finish is designed to highlight the natural grain of the mahogany, which can actually be quite forgiving with dust and minor surface marks compared to darker, high-gloss finishes. However, like any solid wood furniture, it should be kept away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.

The Owen Bed sits relatively low to the ground to maintain its architectural silhouette. While it is not designed for significant under-bed storage, there is enough clearance for a standard low-profile vacuum or robot cleaner to pass underneath.

At 61.5 inches tall, the headboard is substantial and serves as a focal point. It is best suited for rooms with standard or high ceilings; if you have low-hanging light fixtures or windows directly behind the bed, you may want to measure your wall space to ensure the headboard doesn't obstruct them.

The Owen Bed features a sturdy, traditional panel construction that requires assembly upon delivery. We recommend having two people available to handle the solid mahogany components, as the bed weighs 172 lbs and the headboard and side rails are substantial pieces.
