The Sintered 8000 base is a high-performance material that is porous and fast, meaning it needs regular waxing to stay quick and protect the base material. If you let it dry out, you will notice a significant drop in speed and glide performance.

You can absolutely take this into the park. Because it is a splitboard, it is heavier than a solid snowboard, but the twin shape and medium flex make it surprisingly capable for hitting jumps and side hits if you are willing to carry the extra weight.
