All Terrain EZ Aim Steel Gong Target

AR500 is a hardened alloy specifically designed to resist deformation and cratering from high-velocity impacts. It is the industry standard for steel targets because it can withstand thousands of rounds without becoming dangerous or unusable.

Like any painted target, the coating will chip and wear away as you hit it. However, the white finish is primarily there to help you spot your hits clearly during your initial sessions; many shooters choose to repaint their targets with standard spray paint after a few range trips to keep them visible.

This target features square holes designed to fit standard carriage bolts. Using carriage bolts is recommended because the square shoulder locks into the hole, preventing the bolt from spinning while you tighten the nut.

While AR500 is durable, you should avoid using armor-piercing, steel-core, or incendiary rounds, as these can penetrate or damage the steel regardless of its hardness. Stick to standard lead-core ammunition for the longest target life.

Because this is a hanging gong, it is designed to swing freely upon impact. This movement, combined with the audible 'ring' of the steel, provides the immediate feedback you need to confirm your accuracy.
