The KB1 is designed with a balanced profile that feels familiar to players accustomed to the weight distribution of aluminum bats. Its high-density maple construction offers a forgiving sweet spot and consistent performance, making the adjustment period less jarring.

Standard wood manufacturing often involves high-pressure compression that can compromise the timber's cellular structure. The zero-pressure process preserves the natural integrity and strength of the maple, resulting in a more durable bat that resists splintering.

The full-cup end removes excess weight from the end of the barrel, which shifts the balance point closer to the hands. This creates a lighter swing weight, allowing for faster bat speed and better control through the zone.

While the KB1 is crafted from high-quality hard maple, wood bats are generally susceptible to damage in cold temperatures. We recommend avoiding use in temperatures below 60°F to prevent the wood from becoming brittle and cracking upon impact.

SAM BAT does not offer a warranty for damage that occurs during normal gameplay, as wood bats are consumable items prone to breakage. However, they do cover any damage that occurs during transit before the bat reaches you.
