While we recommend avoiding placing extremely heavy items like large stone sculptures or heavy appliances directly on the center, the sideboard's industrial steel base is designed for substantial stability and can easily handle standard dining room decor, lamps, or serving platters.

The dark walnut finish is durable, but like all natural wood, it benefits from regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth. We recommend avoiding harsh chemical cleaners and using coasters to prevent water rings or heat damage on the surface.

The Illusion Sideboard typically arrives fully assembled or with minimal attachment required for the base. Given its weight of 195 lbs, we strongly recommend having two people present to assist with placement and final positioning.

At 78 inches wide, this piece is substantial and works best in medium-to-large dining rooms or living spaces. Be sure to measure your wall space and account for at least 6 to 12 inches of clearance on either side to ensure the piece doesn't overwhelm the room.

The steel base is sturdy and finished with a matte coating, but it is always wise to apply felt pads to the bottom of the legs. This will protect hardwood or tile floors from potential scuffs when moving the piece.
