Simply sprinkle 2 teaspoons of the powder directly over the top of the mound. You do not need to mix it with water or disturb the mound beforehand, as the systemic action allows the product to work its way down into the colony.

Be aware that this product can affect the grass or vegetation directly beneath or immediately surrounding the treated mound. It is best to apply it precisely to the mound itself to minimize any potential discoloration or damage to your turf.

As with any pesticide, you should keep children and pets away from the treated area until the powder has settled and the application is complete. Always follow the label instructions carefully regarding re-entry intervals to ensure safety.

Because this is a systemic insecticide, it works by being carried into the colony. While it begins working immediately upon contact, you should typically see a significant reduction in ant activity within a few days.

This product is designed for targeted, mound-by-mound treatment rather than broadcast application across an entire lawn. It is most effective when you identify and treat individual mounds directly.
