Chenille is generally durable and resistant to pilling compared to wool, but like any chunky knit, it can snag if handled roughly. With normal use, you should experience minimal shedding.

Because of the delicate, handmade chunky knit construction, we recommend spot cleaning for minor spills. If a full wash is necessary, use a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag and lay it flat to air dry to maintain the shape.

While the oversized weave makes it breathable, the chenille material provides a surprising amount of warmth. It is substantial enough for cozying up on the couch, though it is best suited as a layering piece rather than a heavy winter comforter.

This is a standard throw size, which is perfect for draping over your legs or shoulders while sitting. It is not designed to cover an entire bed or wrap fully around an adult, so consider it more of an accent or lap blanket.

Chunky knits can relax slightly with frequent use and gravity. To keep the weave looking tight and uniform, avoid hanging the blanket over a railing for long periods, which can cause the loops to elongate.
