The board features a natural, light finish that highlights the hickory's grain. It is food-safe and ready to use for serving directly out of the box.

While hickory is a durable hardwood, the double-arch design is primarily intended as a serving piece. Using sharp knives on the surface will create cut marks that may detract from its sculptural aesthetic over time.

The board measures 14.5 inches by 7 inches, providing ample room for a curated selection of cheeses, charcuterie, and accompaniments for two to four people. The double-arch shape creates distinct zones, which is helpful for separating different types of appetizers.

Hickory is a dense, stable hardwood, making it resistant to warping. However, to ensure longevity, avoid soaking the board in water or placing it in the dishwasher, as extreme moisture and heat can compromise the wood fibers.
