These are crafted from genuine natural slate. Because they are a natural material, you should expect slight variations in color, texture, and the chipped edge pattern, making every coaster unique.

The chipped edges are decorative and generally smooth enough to handle, but they are not polished. However, the coasters are equipped with rubber feet on the underside, which lift the stone slightly to ensure the slate itself does not make direct contact with your furniture.

Slate is durable but porous. We recommend a simple wipe-down with a damp cloth after use. They are hand-wash only; do not place them in the dishwasher, as the high heat and harsh detergents can damage the stone and the laser-etched design.

Yes. With a 4-inch diameter, these coasters comfortably accommodate most standard glassware, coffee mugs, and tumblers.

No. Laser etching physically removes a thin layer of the stone surface, creating a permanent mark that will not wash away, peel, or fade with regular use.
