While the traps are designed for outdoor use, they contain bait that attracts flies. It is best to hang them in areas that are out of reach of pets and children to prevent accidental contact or ingestion.

We recommend hanging the traps at least 10 to 20 feet away from your home or patio area. This draws flies away from your living spaces rather than attracting them toward where you are sitting.

The trap is full when the liquid level inside is saturated with flies or when the trap reaches its capacity limit. At that point, simply seal the top and dispose of the entire unit in your regular trash.
