Sandstone is highly porous, making it one of the most effective materials for coaster absorption. It will quickly wick away moisture from a cold glass, preventing puddles from forming on your table.

While the top surface is sandstone, the underside is typically unfinished or cork-backed to provide a grip and protect delicate surfaces. We recommend checking the bottom of the coasters upon arrival to ensure they are smooth before placing them on fine wood.

With a 4-inch diameter, these coasters are standard-sized and fit most typical glassware, coffee mugs, and standard soda cans. However, they may be too small for extra-large water bottles or oversized beer steins.

Because sandstone is porous, it can absorb liquids like coffee or wine. To clean, gently wipe with a damp cloth or a mild soap solution; avoid soaking them, as this can saturate the material and make it difficult to dry.

The design is printed onto the sandstone surface. It is durable enough for daily use, but avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can wear down the graphic over time.
