This mat is crafted from natural coir, a durable fiber derived from coconut husks. It is specifically designed for outdoor use and is excellent at scraping dirt and debris off shoes, though it performs best in covered porch areas to maintain the vibrancy of the design.

The mat measures 30 inches by 17 inches. It is a standard size that fits well in most residential entryways without overwhelming the space.

While coir is naturally weather-resistant, prolonged exposure to intense, direct sunlight can cause natural fibers to fade over time. To keep the colors bright throughout the summer, we recommend placing it in a shaded or semi-covered entryway.

Maintenance is simple. You can shake out the mat regularly to remove loose dirt or use a stiff-bristled brush to sweep away debris. Avoid soaking the mat, as natural coir can take a long time to dry and may develop mold if left damp.
