Matelassé is a weaving technique that creates a quilted, puckered appearance without actual padding. It gives the fabric a subtle, three-dimensional texture that feels soft and substantial rather than flat or thin.

The blanket is fully machine washable and designed to be durable. Because it is 100% organic cotton, it may soften further with each wash, but it is built to maintain its structural integrity and pattern definition over time.

The pattern is jacquard-woven, meaning the design is created by the weave itself rather than a printed overlay. This results in a tonal, subtle look that adds visual depth without overwhelming a space, making it quite compatible with minimalist aesthetics.
