Yes, the Granada rug is crafted from durable PET fibers specifically designed for outdoor resilience. While it is highly resistant to dirt and stains, we recommend bringing it inside or rolling it up during extreme weather conditions to preserve its texture and color over time.

The rug features the same checkered pattern and weave on both sides, allowing you to flip it over whenever one side shows signs of wear or staining. This effectively doubles the lifespan of the rug and ensures even usage across the entire piece.

Because it is handwoven from PET fibers, the texture is durable and slightly structured rather than plush. While it is comfortable enough for indoor living spaces, it has a firm, flatweave feel that is more akin to a natural sisal or jute rug than a soft wool pile.

We highly recommend using a rug pad regardless of where you place it. Indoors, a pad prevents slipping and adds a layer of cushioning; outdoors, a breathable, all-weather rug pad helps with drainage and prevents the rug from shifting on hard surfaces like concrete or stone.
