While the tray is crafted from durable stainless steel, it is primarily designed for serving appetizers, drinks, or decorative display. We recommend using it for room-temperature or cold items to protect the enamel finish and the brass-plated edges from potential heat damage.

To maintain the vibrant tropical artwork and the integrity of the clear enamel, this tray must be hand washed. Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water, then dry immediately to prevent water spots on the brass-plated edge.

The tray features a clear enamel finish over stainless steel, which provides a protective layer. However, to keep the surface pristine, avoid using abrasive scrubbers or sharp metal utensils directly on the artwork.

The brass-plated edge is a decorative detail that adds an heirloom quality to the piece. Over time, it may develop a natural patina; you can gently buff it with a soft, dry cloth to maintain its luster, but avoid harsh metal polishes that could damage the surrounding enamel.

It can certainly be used outdoors for a gathering, but it is not weather-proof. We recommend keeping it in a covered area and bringing it inside after your event to prevent the finish from being compromised by direct sunlight or humidity.
