The lid features a traditional hinge design. While it is durable, it does not include a soft-close mechanism, so we recommend supervising young children when they are accessing the storage compartment.

Oak is the hardest and most resistant to dents, making it ideal for high-traffic areas. Brown Maple offers a smoother grain that takes stain beautifully, while Cherry is prized for its rich color that deepens and warms over time.

This bench is strictly designed for indoor use. Exposure to fluctuating humidity and temperature changes outdoors can cause the solid wood to warp or crack over time.
