While it is designed as a modular corner unit for a sectional, it can technically function as a standalone seat. However, keep in mind that it lacks side arms, so it is best utilized as part of a larger configuration to provide proper support and structure.

Premium teak is naturally rich in oils, making it exceptionally resistant to rot, insects, and moisture. Over time, the wood will naturally weather to a silvery-gray patina if left untreated, though you can apply teak oil if you prefer to maintain its original honey-brown color.

The cushions feature high-performance Sunbrella fabric, which is water-resistant and designed to withstand exposure to the elements. While they can handle rain showers, we recommend storing them or using furniture covers during extended periods of heavy rain to prolong their lifespan and prevent mildew.

The modular design is intended to be placed alongside other pieces in the collection to create a cohesive layout. While the weight of the teak wood provides a sturdy foundation that prevents sliding, you may want to use standard furniture clips if you find the pieces shifting on a smooth deck or patio surface.

Teak is very low-maintenance. If you want to keep the wood looking fresh, a simple seasonal cleaning with mild soap and water is usually sufficient. If you prefer to keep the golden color, you will need to apply a teak sealer annually.
