This species is best suited for intermediate to advanced collectors. Because it requires consistently high humidity and specific light conditions to thrive, it can be challenging to maintain in a standard home environment without a greenhouse cabinet or dedicated setup.

While it is an epiphyte and looks stunning when mounted on a plaque or board, it can absolutely thrive in a pot. If you choose to pot it, use a hanging basket or a tall pedestal to accommodate its natural trailing growth habit and long, cascading leaves.

Because it is an epiphyte, it requires a very airy, chunky substrate that mimics its natural environment. A mix of orchid bark, perlite, charcoal, and a small amount of sphagnum moss is ideal to ensure excellent drainage while retaining enough moisture for the roots.

To keep humidity above 70%, a glass greenhouse cabinet or a dedicated terrarium is the most reliable method. If you are growing it in an open room, you will likely need a high-quality humidifier placed in close proximity to the plant.

If the leaves begin to yellow or bleach, it is likely receiving too much direct sun. Conversely, if the plant stops producing new growth or the leaves become stunted and dark, it is likely not receiving enough bright, indirect light.
