As a winter-hardy variety, it is designed to withstand colder temperatures and can typically remain in the pond year-round, provided your pond does not freeze solid to the bottom. If you live in an area with extreme winters, ensure the tuber is planted deep enough to stay below the ice line.

This plant is rated at a medium care level. While it is reliable and hardy, you will need to monitor water quality and ensure it is planted in an appropriate aquatic soil or container to support its growth.
