Amethyst Falls is a native North American variety (Wisteria frutescens) that is significantly less aggressive than the common Asian species. It is much easier to keep contained and won't take over your entire garden or damage structures, making it a safer choice for smaller landscapes.

Yes, this variety is known for its ability to rebloom. You can expect a heavy flush of fragrant, lilac-blue flowers in the spring, followed by sporadic, smaller flushes throughout the summer.

Because it is a vigorous climber, it needs a sturdy structure like a pergola, arbor, or heavy-duty trellis. Ensure the support is securely anchored, as the vine can reach 15 to 30 feet at maturity and will need space to spread.
