The seat is crafted from solid acacia wood, a hardwood known for its density and resistance to wear. Because it features a natural live-edge design, you can expect the wood to be durable and long-lasting, though it will naturally show slight variations in grain and texture.

Assembly is straightforward and requires attaching the iron trestle base to the acacia wood top. All necessary hardware is included, and you should be able to complete the setup with basic tools in about 15 to 20 minutes.

At 18 inches high, this bench is designed to sit at a standard dining table height. With a 66-inch width, it comfortably accommodates two to three adults, making it a practical alternative to traditional dining chairs.

The live-edge refers to the natural, raw edge of the wood slab along the front and back of the bench. While the edges retain their organic, irregular shape, the top seating surface itself is planed smooth and level for comfortable use.

To maintain the wood, simply wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. We recommend avoiding harsh chemical cleaners and using a wood-safe conditioner occasionally to keep the acacia hydrated and prevent it from drying out over time.
