While the board is rated for intermediate riders, its forgiving flex and 3D Contour Base make it accessible for ambitious beginners who are ready to progress beyond their first rental setup. It offers enough stability to grow with you without being overly aggressive or punishing.

The tapered directional shape is optimized for riding forward, particularly in powder and on-piste terrain. While you can certainly ride switch, it will feel slightly different than a true twin board, requiring a bit more adjustment in your stance and weight distribution.

The 3D Contour Base features spoon-shaped bevels at the nose and tail, which helps the board initiate turns more smoothly and reduces edge catch. This makes the board feel less 'hooky' in variable snow conditions and helps it float better when you venture into deeper powder.

The 2/5 flex rating provides a playful, surfy feel, but the directional camber profile and dual-density wood core are designed to maintain stability. While it isn't a stiff charger meant for high-speed racing, it remains composed and predictable when you pick up speed on groomed runs.

The Sintered 8000 base is high-density and porous, meaning it holds wax exceptionally well. To maintain optimal glide and performance, you should plan on waxing it every 3 to 5 days of riding, or whenever the base starts to look dry and white.
