Yes, the streak effect is most pronounced when shooting point light sources like streetlights, car headlights, or stage lighting. In low-light or dark environments with bright light sources, the effect will be significantly more visible than in broad daylight.

The filter features a slim 2mm profile, which is designed to minimize the risk of vignetting. However, if you are using an ultra-wide-angle lens, it is always a good idea to test the filter to ensure it does not interfere with the edges of your frame.

While you can technically stack filters, it is generally not recommended with streak filters. Adding extra glass layers increases the risk of vignetting and can introduce unwanted reflections or ghosting, even with high-quality coatings.

The filter is designed to be rotated once it is screwed onto your lens. By turning the outer ring of the filter, you can change the orientation of the streak effect to align it horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to suit your composition.
