An acoustically transparent screen allows you to place your front speakers directly behind the screen, just like in a commercial cinema. The Reference Studio material is engineered with a high-density weave specifically designed to be invisible from standard viewing distances. Unless you are sitting extremely close to the screen, you will not see the perforation pattern.

A gain of 1.15 indicates that the screen reflects slightly more light than a standard matte white surface, which helps boost the brightness of your image. This is a versatile gain level that works well for most modern projectors in a light-controlled room.

The screen is designed to be 4K-ready, meaning the weave is fine enough to resolve the detail of high-resolution content without adding texture. You do not need special calibration for the screen itself, though you should ensure your projector is properly focused.
