Calathea Dottie prefers medium to bright indirect light. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, which can scorch the dark foliage and fade those signature pink stripes.

Aim for a weekly watering schedule, but always check the soil first. The plant prefers consistent moisture, so water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry to the touch, ensuring the pot has proper drainage.
