NiSi HUC PRO Nano IR Filter

An ND8 filter reduces the light entering your lens by three stops, which allows you to use slower shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright daylight. This is particularly useful for capturing motion blur in water or clouds, or for shooting with a shallow depth of field when the sun is too bright for your camera's base ISO.

The NiSi HUC PRO features a slim aluminum frame specifically designed to prevent vignetting. It is an excellent choice for wide-angle lenses, though you should always ensure your lens doesn't have a recessed front element that might interfere with the filter's fit.

Standard neutral density filters can sometimes let infrared light pass through, which often results in a magenta or red color cast in your images. The IR reduction technology in this filter blocks that infrared light, ensuring your colors remain accurate and neutral.

The nano-coating is designed to repel water, oil, and dust, making the glass much easier to clean in the field. It does not negatively impact image quality; in fact, it helps minimize reflections and flare, contributing to the overall sharpness and clarity of your shots.

While the slim frame helps minimize vignetting, stacking multiple filters can still introduce optical issues or physical obstruction on ultra-wide lenses. If you need to stack, ensure your lens focal length is long enough to avoid dark corners in your frame.
