The black iron finish is matte and durable, but like most dark metal surfaces, it can show fingerprints with frequent handling. A quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth is usually all that is needed to keep it looking clean.

The Soto dresser features standard metal glides that provide smooth operation. They do not include a soft-close mechanism, so you will want to guide them shut rather than pushing them closed forcefully.

Because it is crafted entirely from iron, this dresser is substantial and heavy. We strongly recommend using the included anti-tip kit to anchor it securely to your wall for safety, especially if you have children or pets.

While the frame is solid iron, the drawers operate on metal glides designed for smooth movement. You may hear a slight metallic sound compared to wood-on-wood or soft-close drawers, but it is not excessive.

While iron is durable, it is susceptible to rust if exposed to persistent moisture. We recommend keeping this piece in a bedroom or living area rather than a bathroom to preserve the finish and structural integrity.
