This specific model is engineered for rear projection using the CineFlex White XT700V surface. It is not intended for standard front-projection setups.

Tab-tensioning uses a system of cables to pull the sides of the screen taut, preventing the edges from curling over time. This ensures the surface remains perfectly flat, which is critical for maintaining consistent image geometry and preventing distortion.

The screen features a motorized door that operates independently of the viewing surface. When the screen is retracted, the door closes to seal the opening in your ceiling, creating a seamless, flush appearance that hides the hardware entirely.

This is a recessed ceiling mount, meaning it must be installed into the ceiling structure itself rather than hung from it. Because it requires cutting into the ceiling and electrical wiring, professional installation is strongly recommended.

A 0.7 gain indicates that the screen absorbs some light rather than reflecting it all back, which helps improve contrast and black levels in environments with some ambient light. It is a common choice for rear-projection setups where image depth and color accuracy are prioritized over raw brightness.
