While the Flourside cover is specifically engineered to fit all Flourside bannetons, its elasticized design allows it to stretch and secure over most standard-sized proofing baskets. If your basket is a standard round or oval shape, it will likely provide a snug fit.

The waterproof PUL liner creates a controlled micro-environment by retaining humidity, which prevents your dough from drying out or forming a skin during the proofing stage. It offers the same moisture-retention benefits as plastic wrap but without the waste.

Yes. The cover is constructed with a food-safe, BPA-free PUL liner that has been rigorously tested and certified to meet both FDA and Health Canada food safety standards.

The cover is machine washable for easy maintenance. We recommend washing it in cold water and air drying it to preserve the integrity of the elastic and the PUL lining, though it is dryer safe if needed.
