The included liner is designed to protect the seagrass from moisture and debris, but it is not intended to hold a standard plastic trash bag on its own. You can place a small plastic bag inside the liner if you prefer, though the liner itself is easily removable for cleaning.

Simply wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth or use a vacuum with a brush attachment on a low setting. Avoid using water or harsh cleaning agents, as these can damage the natural fibers.

The base is flat and stable, but if you are concerned about scratching delicate surfaces, we recommend adding small felt furniture pads to the bottom corners. This will provide a buffer between the seagrass and your flooring.
