This towel has a flatter, more textured weave than a plush terry cloth towel. While it is less fluffy, the linen-cotton blend is highly absorbent and feels crisp and breathable, softening significantly with every wash.

The tassels are durable, but to keep them from tangling or fraying, we recommend placing the towel inside a mesh laundry bag before washing. Always wash on a gentle cycle and hang dry to maintain the integrity of the fringe.

Because of the linen content and the thinner, handwoven construction, this towel dries much faster than a standard thick cotton towel. It is an excellent choice for travel or humid environments where towels often stay damp.

As with any handwoven textile, we recommend washing it separately in cold water for the first few cycles. This helps set the dyes and ensures the vibrant mustard and black stripes remain crisp.
