While it thrives in containers, it requires significant light to produce fruit. It is best suited for a sunroom or a very bright, south-facing window that receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily.

Because this plant is not frost-tolerant, you must bring your container indoors before the first frost. Keep it in a bright, cool location during the winter months and move it back outside once nighttime temperatures consistently stay above 50°F.

Under ideal conditions with plenty of sunlight and consistent care, this variety is known to bloom and fruit multiple times throughout the year. It is not strictly seasonal, so you may see flowers and fruit on the plant simultaneously.

It is considered an easy-care variety, but it does have specific needs. You will need to ensure it gets full sun, consistent water without waterlogging the roots, and occasional citrus-specific fertilizer to keep it healthy.

When grown in a pot, the plant's size is naturally restricted by the container's volume. While it can reach 4 to 6 feet in the ground, you can keep it more compact with regular pruning and an appropriately sized pot.
