Durachlor works by coagulating, or binding together, microscopic particles that are too small for your filter to catch on its own. Once these particles clump together into larger masses, your filtration system can easily trap and remove them, leaving your water clear.

Yes, the pump must be running for the product to circulate properly and for the filtration system to capture the coagulated particles. We recommend running the pump for at least 8 to 12 hours after application for the best results.

The dosage is 2 ounces per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Because it is a concentrated formula, a little goes a long way, so be sure to measure carefully.

While it is excellent for clearing up cloudy water after a storm or heavy use, it is also designed for weekly maintenance. Regular application helps prevent fine debris from accumulating in the first place, keeping your water consistently clear.
