Because it is made of raw iron, the finish may eventually develop a patina or minor surface rust if exposed to moisture over time. You can easily touch up the high-heat black finish with a standard high-heat spray paint designed for grills or fire pits to keep it looking new.

The 30-inch diameter bowl is deep and spacious, designed to accommodate standard-sized firewood logs. It is built for a substantial fire, but you should always avoid overfilling the bowl to ensure safe airflow and containment of embers.

The Evening Shade arrives fully assembled and ready to use. Because it is handcrafted from solid iron, it is quite heavy, so you will want to have a plan for where you intend to place it before it arrives.
