These coasters are hand-wash only. Simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, then dry them immediately to preserve the wood finish. Do not put them in the dishwasher, as the heat and water can warp or damage the natural Sapele wood.

Sapele wood is a durable, moisture-resistant hardwood, making it an excellent choice for coasters. While it will effectively protect your surfaces from condensation, we recommend wiping away any significant pooling of water after use to keep the wood in pristine condition.

The city map designs are laser-etched, meaning the lines are recessed into the wood. While this creates a beautiful tactile texture, it is a shallow engraving, so they are easy to wipe clean and won't trap significant amounts of debris.
