The lamp is exceptionally stable. The base is crafted from a substantial piece of white marble, which provides a heavy, grounded foundation that prevents tipping despite the slender silhouette of the brass body.

The oversized globe bulb is designed for ambient illumination rather than focused task lighting. It casts a soft, diffused glow that is ideal for creating a warm atmosphere in living rooms or reading nooks, rather than providing bright, direct light for detailed work.

The antique brass finish is durable but should be treated with care. Simply dust it periodically with a soft, dry cloth; avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges, as these can strip the finish and damage the metallic luster.

The bottom of the marble base is finished to protect your floors, but for added peace of mind, we recommend placing a small felt pad underneath if you are concerned about potential scuffing on delicate surfaces.

The lamp is designed to showcase the oversized globe bulb, which is included. While you can replace it with any standard bulb that fits the socket, using a different shape may alter the intended aesthetic and light distribution of the fixture.
