Yes, because these are mid-capacity magazines with internal springs, you will need an airsoft speed loader to fill them efficiently. They cannot be top-loaded like high-capacity magazines.

It is common for new mid-cap springs to be quite stiff initially. We recommend loading them to about half capacity for the first few uses to allow the springs to settle, which ensures smoother feeding over time.
