Refilling is straightforward. Simply unscrew the ceramic collar from the vessel, pour in your refill oil, and replace the collar. Ensure you are using the designated alcohol-free refills to maintain the integrity of the scent.

The Hidden Lake fragrance is designed to be subtle and grounding, rather than intense. Because it uses alcohol-free oil, the diffusion rate is slower and more consistent, making it suitable for smaller spaces like bathrooms or bedrooms without becoming overwhelming.

Alcohol-free oils evaporate more slowly than alcohol-based alternatives, which means the fragrance lasts longer and provides a more consistent, true-to-life scent profile. It also avoids the sharp, chemical-like top notes often associated with traditional reed diffusers.

While the vessel is physically compatible with most reed diffuser oils, we recommend sticking to alcohol-free formulas. Using oils with different chemical compositions may affect the longevity of the scent and the performance of the reeds.

For a subtle, continuous aroma, you generally don't need to flip the reeds often. If you notice the scent fading, flipping the reeds once a week is usually sufficient to refresh the fragrance throw.
