The Lady Ingrid Wine Stopper is specifically engineered for standard wine bottles. While it may fit some spirits or vinegar bottles with similar neck diameters, it is not guaranteed to create an airtight seal on non-standard or oversized bottle openings.

Because it is crafted from natural hardwood, you should hand wash the stopper with mild soap and water, then dry it immediately. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher, as moisture can cause the wood to warp or crack over time.

While not strictly required, applying a food-safe mineral oil or wood conditioner occasionally will help maintain the wood's luster and prevent it from drying out. This is especially helpful if you use the stopper frequently.

This stopper is designed for short-term preservation with the bottle stored upright. It is not recommended for storing bottles on their side, as the push-in mechanism may not be secure enough to prevent leaks.
