FUTURES Rasta Alpha Fin Set

The Twin+1 configuration offers a balance between the loose, skatey feel of a twin fin and the stability of a thruster. It provides the speed and maneuverability of a twin, while the small trailer fin adds just enough hold and control for tighter turns and more vertical surfing.

Alpha fins are built using NetPlus recycled fishing nets and carbon, which creates a unique flex pattern. They feel lighter and more responsive than traditional fiberglass, avoiding the stiff, plastic-like sensation sometimes found in other synthetic fins.

These fins are designed specifically for the Futures fin system. As long as your board has Futures boxes, they will fit, but keep in mind that this template is best suited for boards designed for twin-fin or hybrid setups where you want to enhance speed and rail-to-rail transitions.

The V-Foil is engineered to smooth out your rail-to-rail transitions. It helps the board move more fluidly from edge to edge, making it easier to maintain speed through turns rather than feeling like you are catching or stalling.

While these fins excel in generating speed and maneuverability, they are primarily designed for small to medium-sized conditions. If you are surfing heavy, high-consequence waves, you might prefer a more traditional thruster setup with a larger center fin for extra hold.
