A compact drop design reduces the distance between the top of the bar and the drops. This makes it much easier to transition between hand positions without needing to stretch as far, which is generally more comfortable for long rides or if you have less flexibility.

These handlebars require a stem with a 26.0 mm clamp diameter. Please check your current stem specifications, as many modern road bikes use a 31.8 mm standard, and this bar will not fit those without a shim or a stem swap.

Double-butted aluminum means the tubing is thicker at the ends where stress is highest and thinner in the middle sections. This construction method keeps the handlebar strong and durable while reducing overall weight compared to straight-gauge aluminum.

Handlebar width is typically measured center-to-center and should generally match your shoulder width for optimal control and comfort. A 440 mm width is a common size for average-to-broad-shouldered riders, but you should measure your current bars to ensure this matches your preference.

While designed primarily for road cycling, the 6061-T6 aluminum construction is robust enough for light gravel or mixed-terrain riding. However, if you are looking for specific gravel features like flared drops for extra stability, you might want to consider a dedicated gravel bar instead.
