Flourside Banneton Cover

The cover features an elasticized edge designed to stretch and secure around most standard-sized round and oval proofing baskets. It is flexible enough to accommodate slight variations in basket shape and size.

The waterproof PUL lining serves two purposes: it prevents the dough from drying out by locking in moisture during the proofing process, and it protects the linen exterior from getting sticky or stained with flour and dough residue.

Yes. The interior lining is food-safe and BPA-free, meeting both FDA and Health Canada safety standards, so you can feel confident using it directly against your dough.

The cover is machine washable for easy maintenance. We recommend washing on a cold cycle and air drying to preserve the elasticity and integrity of the materials, though it is dryer safe if needed.

While the cover keeps the dough moist and protected, you should still lightly dust your banneton with flour or rice flour before placing the dough inside to prevent sticking, especially if you are not using a cloth liner inside the basket itself.
