The two 20-inch leaves are removable, meaning they must be stored separately from the table when not in use. We recommend keeping them in a climate-controlled area to prevent warping.

The double pedestal base is quite substantial to support the table's length. While the tabletop is 46 inches wide, ensure your dining room has enough clearance around the pedestals to allow for comfortable seating and chair movement.

The brown cherry finish is durable, but like all wood veneer furniture, it should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or excessive moisture, and use coasters to protect the surface from heat and condensation.

Due to the size and weight of the solid wood components, we strongly recommend two people for assembly. The process involves attaching the heavy pedestal bases to the tabletop and apron, which is difficult to maneuver alone.

At nearly 10 feet long when fully extended, this is a large piece designed for formal dining rooms. Before purchasing, measure your space to ensure you have at least 36 to 48 inches of clearance on all sides for chairs to pull out comfortably.
