While the metal construction is durable and suitable for outdoor use, we recommend bringing it indoors or into a covered area during harsh winter months or extreme weather to preserve the hand-painted finish.

This planter does not come with pre-drilled drainage holes. If you plan to plant directly into it, we suggest adding a layer of gravel at the bottom or using a plastic liner to protect the metal interior.

To maintain the hand-painted design, simply wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could scratch or fade the gold and ivory finish.

The metal construction provides a sturdy base, but it is relatively lightweight compared to stone or ceramic. If placing it in a high-wind area, consider adding a heavier potting medium or decorative rocks at the base for extra stability.

The finish is designed for decorative longevity, but like any hand-painted metal piece, it may show slight wear if exposed to direct, prolonged sunlight or moisture. Keeping it in a sheltered spot will help maintain its vibrant appearance.
