Electra Rubber Grips

These grips are designed to fit standard bicycle handlebars, which are typically 22.2mm in diameter. They are ideal for cruiser and city bike setups, but they may not fit drop-bar road bikes or oversized mountain bike bars.

The rubber material offers a firm, tactile surface that provides reliable grip and vibration dampening. While they are comfortable for casual city riding and cruising, they lack the extra padding found on ergonomic or gel-based grips designed for long-distance touring.

Installation is straightforward and usually requires no specialized tools. You can typically remove your old grips by sliding them off and slide these on; using a little rubbing alcohol or compressed air can help them glide into place more easily.

The Retro Stripe pattern is molded into the rubber, so it is durable and resistant to fading. Like all rubber grips, they will eventually show signs of wear with heavy use, but they are built to withstand standard outdoor conditions.

While these grips are designed to coordinate perfectly with Electra's matching saddles and accessories for a cohesive look, they are neutral enough to pair with other brands. If you are trying to color-match, keep in mind that rubber and synthetic leather tones can vary slightly between manufacturers.
