While the resin sections are beautiful, they are not scratch-resistant like wood. We recommend using the wood-only side for heavy chopping and reserving the resin-and-flower side for serving charcuterie or appetizers to keep the artistic elements pristine.

Hand wash the board with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately. Avoid soaking it in water or putting it in the dishwasher, as this can cause the wood to warp and the resin to lose its luster. Periodically applying a food-safe mineral oil to the wood portions will keep the grain hydrated and protected.

Yes, we use real, dried, and preserved flowers for each custom arrangement. Because they are natural materials, slight variations in color and shape are expected, which only adds to the unique character of your piece.

Walnut, cherry, and maple are all excellent choices. Walnut is the hardest and offers a rich, dark aesthetic; cherry is medium-hard and develops a beautiful patina over time; and maple is a classic, durable choice known for its light, neutral tone that fits almost any kitchen decor.

We use high-quality, durable epoxy resin specifically formulated for woodworking. While it is strong, resin is not as impact-resistant as solid wood, so avoid dropping the board or using serrated knives directly on the resin surface to prevent surface marring.
