Acacia is an excellent material for kitchenware because it is naturally dense, water-resistant, and less prone to warping than softer woods. With proper care, it holds up very well against daily knife use.

Hand wash the board with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher, as high heat and moisture can damage the wood and compromise the resin inlay.

The engraving is located on the decorative side, which is intended for presentation rather than heavy chopping. Because the reverse side is completely smooth, your knife work will remain unaffected and your blades will stay sharp.

To maintain the wood's luster and prevent cracking, apply a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax conditioner every few months. Simply rub the oil into the wood, let it soak in, and wipe away any excess.
